Thanks for you sweet email. Gosh, I feel like I've been ripped from this world for 3 weeks and am just starting to feel my feet on the ground again.
School has been rough. I am the first class to go through ASU's new DNP (doctorate of nurse practitioner) program, so I knew there would be bumps in the road, but wow. I've had unbelievable frustration already. Records being lost, more than once, financial aid check being sent to the wrong address, complete apathy from anyone I talk to on the phone. In addition, I am trying to save all my PTO for our trip to China, so I have been working 70-80 hours a week before and after my school "immersion" weeks. Anyways, I say all this to let you know how much it meant to hear from you my friend. Like water to a fire.
