What a great party!! It was so fun to participate in this years Ultimate Blogger Party and meeting lots of great women was the icing on the cake!! Thanks to all who stopped by to say hi and to all who partied along with us! We're already looking forward to next year!

Speaking of icing...tomorrow is a big day here! A BIG day! The cake is iced...the lanterns are hung and the birthday girl (well one of us) has her tutu primped and ready for a party! Yup the party just keeps on going on here. I can not wait for the celebrating to begin!

It's Partay Time!

Yea, I love a good party! This is my second year participating in the Ultimate Blog Party and I'm so excited to go wander around to other parties in the blogosphere! Last year I had fun meeting lots of great people and won a few giveaways too and have enjoyed continuing with friendships that I've made.

So if you're new here, I'm Kayce. I'm a wife, a proud mom, a sister, an aunt, a daughter, run a business or two, a dog lover, a volunteer, a passionate reader, a camping fool, a child of God, a type I diabetic and most of all I am passionate about life and making the most of every second. Before I became a stay at home working mom, I had a great time working in marketing but found that life is too short and my kids were growing up without me. So now I run a house cleaning business and am a ambassador with Barefoot Books and I also run around with my head cut off between mommy & me play groups and driving my high schooler around from point A to point B. :)

I started this blog 5 years ago as a way for our widespread family to follow along on our journey to China to adopt a child. Along the way our journey of love turned into a long, life changing wait and the blog has evolved into something more. It is a place to not only share in our adventures as a family but a place for me to write which is something else I am passionate about. My family and our adventures are the inspiration that flows from me.

Our little his, mine and ours family lives on the beautiful Monterey Bay where we enjoy spending lots of time with our families, getting to as many baseball games as we can and camping the western United States in our travel trailer and sometimes traveling by train. 2010 we started the year with a long awaited adventure to China to complete the adoption of our beautiful little girl who was placed in our arms on January 31, 2010. Life now consists of everything baby and a lot of teenage drama thrown in for a good time....it couldn't be any sweeter!
