Remaining calm with spurts of adrenaline!
UPDATE - 2:03pst - Email arrived BUT!! I am waiting to open the email until Mike comes home from San Francisco...he JUST left...should be about 3:30 when he arrives home.
UPDATE - 2:55pst - Mike still in route from SF. I've been calling all the family. And now I'm off to pick up Big J from school. Email with our daughters face and info is waiting to be opened by all of us when we are all home together!
Okay well A LOT has changed since my 4am post and I should have checked RQ before I even posted that but I've been staying FAR away from there the last few days (Mike been telling me what I need to know) and now I can't get away from it! SO here's where we stand for family and friends who are not in the RQ loop in regard to this batch.....
* The official cut off for this batch is March 31, 2006! WHOOOOHOOOOOO!! Our date is March 29, 2006 - WE ARE IN THIS BATCH!!
* Referrals are landing all across the world as I type this! Calls have been made in Europe and calls are starting to come in in the US of A!
And here's the scoop as to what we are doing right now for all inquiring minds!
* So far we have not received a call yet. But like I said above USA referrals are just arriving or getting called.
* Mike is in San Francisco all day and maybe even tomorrow in a meeting that he can not get out of. He even said he's having a baby today that didn't get him excused! We've been laughing for weeks that we would get the call today of all days when there was a possibility he wouldn't be here. Of course! Hopefully he will be home tomorrow, which leads to my next bullet.
* I don't think we'll get a call today or quite possibly a hello from our agency until at least tomorrow. With that said, I'm hoping there will be no San Fran for Mike tomorrow. I have an email out to our agency but haven't heard back, if I don't get a response in the next 1/2 hour, I'll be calling.
* Big J is at school on standby and most likely not getting much done today since we've planned on pulling him out of class to see his baby sisters face. I asked him this morning how old he thinks she'll be, he said 8 months 9 days....sooooo that's March 24th I think....we will see!
* With the holiday last week all my clients didn't get their houses cleaned and while they are supportive of our adoption they really need me to clean their homes this week and let me tell you all now that if I forget to do something, I'm sorry. I'm a bit distracted! I'm hoping I can have our agency call AFTER I get home from work.
* I can not believe this is happening! OHMY! We will keep you all updated as time goes by.....
