If I knew I was dying

there would be several things I would do. Living with diabetes since I was seven, I've always been slightly on the edge of life, I try my hardest to live it full, fun and hard. The older I've gotten I've given up on the hard part only because my body can't take it and living that way is not healthy. But oh boy, in my youth....oh I forgot my mom reads this... Anyway here is a list of several things I'd do (actually want to do) but haven't done them yet.

Sit at the Denny's on Sunset Blvd. with Axle Rose with a carton of cigarettes, and a non stop flow of coffee and just talk.

Get another mohawk.

Take my kids out of school for a year and just travel where the wind takes us.

Be a total punk again.

Go back to England, but this time stay forever.

Have a tummy tuck and a breast lift.

Buy a totally restored 56 Bel air Chevy.

Marry my husband in every state in the union.

Write a book.

Sing on national tv or radio.

Have Eminem over for dinner.

Buy a sweet little home in Big Sur where I would end my days.

What a list...love it. Shame you'd have to be dying to do it!

Oh, and forget the tummy tuck - really ;0) (Just one woman's opinion)

Try to get some in there now!

Thanks for checking out my blog, always nice to get comments.

Deb

I had half my head shaved, what memories. And I'd stay in England, fly over with Dave Matthews, and wouldn't mind having Eminem for dinner.

You never cease to crack me up.

Hey I remember making some of those long time ago memories with you! Too funny. Can you move Big Sur to England? I think you have a logistics problem with your plan, but what the heck, it's a good list. -

I don't know that I would want to know I was dying...but then again I don't know that I wouldn't want to know either...

You have to share pictures of the mohawk. That is too cool!

Neat list! What would you sing?

Joannah...I'd have to sing a Blondie song. When I was little all I wanted to be when I grew up was Blondie. Maybe "Heart of Glass"?

I want to see a pic of you with your first mohawk!
I love the idea of just taking a year off and travelling with the kids...sounds so good.

Mohawk pics please!

I too would go to England and never come back.

Great list...gotta attempt to complete it (to some degree)! We all should.

Keep smilin!

You know, it's funny, I haven't met you in person...but when I think of someone who really enjoys life...I think of you! Life is good!

Are you the next American Idol? :) Sanjaya made it that far, I think you can too! The mohawk might just land you a spot! Then you would have two things checked off your list! :)
