Cookie time!

Last week we had been anticipating a few days of rain and so plans needed to be made for indoor play. We invited our YiYang sister, Miss Z and her mommy over to have some messy fun decorating Christmas cookies! We had a ball and the girls made some lasting memories for their mommies along with a moment of hives! Miss J is just a wee bit allergic to red dye and as you can see she was REALLY enjoying it!

There's nothing better than letting little ones get all gooey and watch them create! I just love a good mess and watching a child experiment with whatever is handed to them is JOY, JOY, JOY!

The girls had SO much fun!

I'm not sure if there was more icing on the cookies, on their sweet faces, on the floor or in their tummies! Regardless of the mess, the smiles and joy made clean up SO sweet! Thank you Miss Z and Steph for having a messy fun day with us and for all the great laughs and memories made! And THANK you Steph for taking beautiful pictures to capture the moment for us and for passing some on to me...(I accidently deleted all the pics from my SD card last week and I don't even want to talk about all the photos I lost!) THANK YOU!!

Pumpkin and apple pies!

Recently little miss and I got to spend an afternoon with our friends, Miss Z and her mommy, at one of our favorite farms. Although all the apples had been picked already and the season was done for the year, we still had a ball playing in the orchard and moving hay around in the pumpkin patch. It is such a joy to watch these two play together and see the fun they get into.

Fish and friends

Friday we headed on down to the MBA for a little fun time with the fish and to meet up with our good friends Paulette and Annalise. It was a great way to start the weekend and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon!
